Peace Begins With Us

Peace is possible when we make peace in our own home, our own neighborhood, our own city, and our own country.   When we put forth the best of ourselves when dealing with others, we create peace.  As intelligent and capable human beings, we can choose to always do what's right. 

When we practice compassionate and loving kindness toward others, we display the best feature of our humanity.  We are all connected, we are family, all our brothers and sisters and me :) even through all the different races, cultures, and religions.  We create conditions for peace when we allow others to have their own opinions, even when they're different than our own! 

Cheer the success of others, encourage those on their way, pray for everyone you meet.  While communication may not solve every crisis, it sure can't hurt, and it might even help!  We are stewards of this earth, we create peace when we preserve and protect our lands for future generations.  For those on a spiritual journey toward God, encourage and teach those you can, leave the rest to God.  Peace results when you respect each others differences and remember that we're all on our own journey with its unique destiny.
