Notes from a Perfecting Rosicrucian

A 'perfecting Rosicrucian' is what the Rosicrucian Order (AMORC) prefers to call those who study the 'secret' or mystical teachings.  Students are not to pretend they are a 'Rosicrucian' or 'Rosie-Croix'; because as students we are always learning.  Perfecting Rosicrucians are just philosophical persons seeking wisdom, who hope to be wise enough to put what we learn into practice.  At the rate of one Monograph (study lesson) per week, it takes several years to reach the top levels of of the Rosicrucian Order.  We can't learn everything all at once.  This author has only just begun on this path of knowledge and wisdom; and I simply wish to share my experiences with you.

Notes from a Perfecting Rosicrucian:

Health:  There are natural, universal laws in place that are designed to keep us healthy.  Deficient health results when we lack respect for these laws, or from an inability to master them.  Perfection was once placed before us in an earlier generation, and the perfect health that exceeds our imagination now may someday return, maybe not to this generation, but surely to some future generation; if we will only return to the natural laws of health that govern the universe. 

Example:  Improper application of free will

• Eating the wrong foods
• Lack of exercise
• Alcohol or Drug abuse
• Sexual promiscuity

Home or Personal Life:  To create a comfortable home and personal life, there must be certain characteristics flowing in abundance, these are: 

• Harmony
• Love
• Tolerance
• Respect

Be a free thinker, but tolerate the free thoughts of others.   Respect the time and space of others.  Preserve your dignity and the dignity of others.  Speak with care, hold the criticism, unless its constructive.  If you are in a position of strength, power or authority; do not lord it over or abuse anyone.  Consider that your purpose is to love and protect while respecting each individual as having the same rights as yourself.  Tolerance without love is bad.  Relationships with strong disagreements are bad. 

Finances:  Every effort receives and deserves its own reward.  Economic activity is the result of human activity.  You may have heard of the laws of attraction from The Secret - briefly explained, this means that if you want something bad enough you will automatically do things to make it happen.  Negative thinking may prevent you from realizing your full potential, so stop it!  Visualize what you want, then take steps as often as possible to help you reach your goals.  Every time you take one step, you are one step closer to realizing your goals.  Keep going.  If you are unable to give it 100% of your attention, then by all means - keep yourself busy with whatever else you need to be doing in the meantime, but keep moving forward.   Contrary to what some people try to teach, you cannot simply produce what you want out of thin air - you have to make it happen!   Focus on abundance and prosperity, act/pretend (fine line there) as if you already have it - this produces knowledge and ideas.

The Secret:  Why the big secrecy?  You are a secret.  There are parts of you unknown even to yourself.  The secret or mystical  teachings of the Rosicrucian Order aim to reveal not only the secrets of the universe, but the secrets within you.   Arrr, thar's a 'ast treasure within you mate, and these teachin's be the treasure map, Aye, me parrot concurs.
